We’ve had an interesting couple of days; after a lot of soul searching and trying to sort out the difference between head and heart, we came to the conclusion that, although Sanguine had one or two downsides (the size of the seating area mainly), she fulfilled 99% of our “must haves” and “wish list”, so we realised that we’d be silly not to go for her. We’ve asked lots of questions this week but all the answers were satisfactory, so……we put an offer in and it’s been accepted!!!!
We just need to wait for the contract so that we can check it through, sign it and send it back, then we can get a Surveyor organised. We’ve got about 4 weeks from the date that the contract is signed, so we should be owners of our own narrowboat round about Christmas time!
